Everyone,
I wanted to check in to let you know that payment has been sent to everyone to ensure the comic is completed. I hope to have that wrapped up in the next couple of weeks. My mother passed away unexpectedly yesterday, and as much as I would like to promise that I won't get distracted, anyone who has been in a similar situation knows better. I will at least try to send out the digital wallpapers to everyone today through Backerkit. I believe those of you who have completed your surveys should get them, and if you haven't, be sure to get those in as soon as you can.
I'll keep everyone updated as I go. My apologies in advance for any delays.

Backerkit Surveys

Happy Black Friday, everyone!
To begin our business, I want to encourage everyone to complete their Backerkit surveys. We still have several outstanding and we need them to ensure accurate item counts. In the spirit of Black Friday, here's your chance to add anything to your orders that you might have had your eye on during the campaign. Another cover? A Print? The metal trading cards? Most everything offered on Kickstarter is right there in the preorder store. Whatever you choose, please get those surveys back to me. In the interim, I'm working on getting the digital stretch goals together, which I hope to offer in the near future. I also want to make the Outpost 426 digital comics available to you as soon as possible, hopefully in early December. As always, I'll keep you posted on my progress.
And relative to Black Friday, there's a campaign going on that I urge you to check out. My partner-in-crime on Scorpiana, CB Zane, has launched a trade paperback compilation of his awesome space opera saga, Into the Suck. Survey Time!

The smoke test was a success, so surveys are going out! You can now confirm your orders and add anything you might have had your eye on during the campaign. As I said previously, a few of you had special requests during the campaign that I noted but aren't included in the Backerkit store, so your order may have a credit above the base items you purchased. Just remember that when you check out, and if you have any questions or concerns, just send me a message and we'll get it squared away.
Look for your survey soon, and of course, make sure you have Backerkit.com set as an exception in your spam filters and such. If you haven't gotten it within a day or so, let me know and I'll provide you with a direct link. 👍

Smoke test time!

Hey, everyone!
The project is now set up on Backerkit, and we're about to perform a smoke test, which involves sending out surveys to around 5% of backers to make sure everything is configured correctly. Once that's done, then everyone else will get their surveys to finalize their orders.
Separately, a handful of you had special requests that aren't specifically set up in the Backerkit store. I have a spreadsheet with your instructions, so you should be good, but if you want to send a reminder note to be extra certain, feel free. You'll either get what you ordered or I'll refund the difference -- it's that simple.
Finally, I wanted to point out that I've added a cover post-Kickstarter to Backerkit. I had requests to make the Keith Garvey "Spring Break" print into a cover (where she's in the wet t-shirt), so I put it in. If you're one of the people who wanted that, you can now add it.
Finally, here are a couple of current projects that I invite you to check out. The first is from Luis Torres, who always delivers the goods with his campaigns. The latest issue of Lili the Demoness is live, and I'll let the graphics involved speak for themselves:

The second project is a double feature -- DragonManx #1 and Chronicles of the METAversal #1. Here's the description:

We did it!
Thanks to your generous support, Scarlet Steel has been brought blazing to life! It's especially meaningful to me as she is my favorite character I've ever created, and I'm incredibly grateful to you for helping me make this happen. I will work hard to deliver your orders to you on time and in good condition, and as always I will give you updates every step of the way.
The current status of the book is that it's about 2/3's drawn and colored. We should be on track for both the digital delivery (estimated for January 2024) as well as physical printing and shipping (April 2024). As always, I will keep you posted should any complications arise.
The next step is for Kickstarter to resolve everybody's charges. Look for a notification from them so you'll know if it was successful or if there was a problem.
In the interim, we will begin migrating the project to Backerkit. This will aid immensely in the fulfillment process and will enable existing backers to make adjustments and additions to their pledges. You'll be apprised of when this happens.
